What material should I choose for my bath linen? Cotton terry is the reference: soft, absorbent and resistant to frequent washing. Bamboo viscose offers unparalleled softness, ideal for sensitive skin. GOTS-certified organic cotton is the most eco-friendly choice. At Carré Blanc, all our products are certified Oeko-Tex® or GOTS.

What is the GSM of a towel and how do I choose? The GSM (grams per square metre) indicates the density and thickness of the fabric. The higher it is, the more absorbent and plush the towel. Between 400 and 500 g/m², the towel is light and dries quickly. Between 500 and 600 g/m², it is the ideal balance. Above 600 g/m², you get a 5-star hotel feeling.

How often should I wash my bath linen? Towels should be washed every 2 to 3 days as they are in direct contact with the skin. Bathrobes and bath sheets can be washed once a week. Wash at 60°C for optimal hygiene, following the care label instructions.

Should I use fabric softener on my towels? No, fabric softener clogs the fibres over time and reduces the absorbency of the terry cloth. Use white vinegar in the softener compartment instead for soft and fluffy towels wash after wash.
